60 tonne weighbridge
Craddock Metal Recycling, Redditch operate an on-site weighbridge with a weighing capacity of 60,000 Kgs.
Drivers are requested to drive their vehicles onto the weighbridge before reporting to the site office to have the weight of their load recorded and the types of metal confirmed. Their vehicle can then be unloaded and re-weighed to work out weight and payment of scrap metal.
Non-Ferrous & Ferrous
At Craddock's we have competitive rates for buying your both your non-ferrous and ferrous.
We have an accurate small scales for measurements from 1kg.
All of our staff are fully trained in operating the weighbridge. Our weighbridge is calibrated to EC regulations, and holds a current Certificate of Conformity.
Scrap your old car

To scrap your car with us...
All you need to bring with you is your logbook, and driving licence or some form of ID.
We can scrap your car and issue you with a certificate of destruction on the same day.
Finally, as per the law brought in on 3rd December 2012, we don’t provide cash for any of the vehicles we scrap so please bring bank details that you wish to be paid into or we can print you a cheque - from there we will take care of everything else.
We can now offer collection for your scrap car, if this is something you interested in, please call us and we can let you know whether its feasible.

If you have scrap metal that you wish to dispose of but are unable to get it to us due to the amount of scrap then please contact us on 01527 66866 and we can either arrange collection or if we're unable to we can recommend a registered collector local to your area.
