Weighbridge facility

Craddock Metal Recycling, Redditch operate an on-site weighbridge that has a weighing capacity of 50,000 Kgs, accurate to the nearest 10kg.

Drivers are requested to drive their vehicles onto the weighbridge before reporting to the site office to have the weight of their load recorded and the types of metal confirmed. Their vehicle can then be unloaded and re-weighed to work out weight and payment of scrap metal.

To ensure we comply with all legislations the weighbridge produces an electronically printed waste transfer note to accurately record the weight of loads coming in and out of the site.

All of our staff are fully trained in operating the weighbridge. The weighbridge is calibrated to EC regulations, and holds a current Certificate of Conformity.

We also have a smaller scales for accurately weighing non-ferrous metals and smaller amounts of steel waste upto 0.5kg

Collection Services

If you have scrap metal that you wish to dispose of but are unable to get it to us due to the amount or scale of the scrap then please contact us on 01527 66866 and we can arrange a collection and loading service to help you get rid of that unwanted metal waste.

We would rather see waste be disposed of correctly then it be fly-tipped in the countryside. Please call us we would be happy to help you.

Factory clearance

We offer a comprehensive factory clearance service. We offer an initial site survey to go over your requirements and discuss the best approach to removing the waste metal from site. We make the whole site clearance process simple, efficient and to the relevant environmentally legal standards.
